Local businesses have another option when looking for a boost of funding for long-term growth.
Renfrew County Community Futures has teamed with their counterparts in Peterborough to offer CANtrade, a new localized program offering entrepreneurs in both regions access to financing they might need as a way to help them adapt to today’s evolving trade landscape.
The program offers repayable loans from $5,000 to $150,000 that will support area businesses looking to shift their supply chains, grow interprovincial trade, or expand exports of locally made products.
Cyndy Phillips, Executive Director of Renfrew County Community Futures, says she is excited to bring the program to the Ottawa Valley, noting that “our local businesses are resourceful and resilient, and this loan offering gives them one more way to act boldly in uncertain times.”
