If you’re looking for a good excuse to go on a nice leisurely bike ride through The Valley countryside and not necessarily to race, then come on out to the 6th annual Tour de Whitewater 2025 ride.
Event organizer John Purdon says that cyclists of all levels are welcome to participate:
Centred in the community of Westmeath, registration takes place starting about 6AM on the day of the event, riders choose their route then pedal off through the stunning Valley vistas then are treated to a BBQ and refreshments provided by the 4H Club.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Upstream Dave, a cash bar if you’re parched and John hopes to add a little something different to the mix this time around:
Saturday July 19th is the date and riders can register online at the link below. Online Registration ends at 6pm Friday July 18th. Walk in Registration on July 19th is possible starting at 6:30 with the first Ride leaving at 8am.
