Renfrew Rotary recently gathered at the Renfrew Golf Club for the Annual Changeover Dinner – a cherished tradition that celebrates the past year and looks ahead to the future.
A special highlight of the evening was presenting the Paul Harris Fellow Recognition Award to the Dunbar Family, in honour of their longstanding dedication and fundraising efforts for Hospice Renfrew.
“Their generosity and spirit truly embody the Rotary ideal of ‘Service Above Self,’” reads a press release.
At the meeting, members took time to reflect on all that’s been accomplished together through events, fundraising, and community giving.
“We were proud to introduce our incoming Board of Directors and hear firsthand from some of the organizations we support, including Renfrew Hospice and Central Public School, about how Rotary’s contributions are making a meaningful impact in our community,” reads the release. “A heartfelt thank you to all our members, volunteers, and Friends of Rotary. Your commitment powers everything we do. Here’s to another great year of service – our 103rd year serving Renfrew.”
