Renfrew’s garbage collectors are doing a little switch-up to get around a snag caused by Canada Day.
Because Canada Day is on a Tuesday this year, town staff are reminding residents that all curbside garbage and recycling schedules in Renfrew will be delayed by one day this week.
That means if your normal collection day is Tuesday, you expect to see trucks from Topps Environment Services pass by your home on Wednesday, Wednesday pick up will happen on Thursday, and Thursday’s route will run on Friday.
Additionally, the Renfrew Landfill will be closed on Tuesday, July 1st.
