North Algona Wilberforce Recreation Committee's Kevin Clarke preparing the Sno-Drifters racecourse for this Saturday, June 28th
Eganville’s famous snowmobile track will take on a new look for a first-of-its-kind event set for this weekend.
The North Algona Wilberforce Recreation Committee will take over the Sno-Drifters’ Bonnechere Cup track on Saturday, June 28th, for their Truck, Tractor, and Lawn Tractor Pull that organizer Kevin Clarke hopes will become a summer staple at a location best known for wintertime fun in the Ottawa Valley.
On top of a large truck and vintage car show, plus food and fun for all ages thanks to support from local businesses, Clarke says the day will feature a wide range of competitors looking to show off high-octane power in a number of categories.
Clarke and his team have been busy over the past few weeks transforming the racetrack into an ideal course for pulling, as fans can expect great sightlines and viewing angles of all the action.
Admission is $20, with kids 12 and under getting in for free. Clarke encourages you to bring your own lawn chairs and ear protection, as well as cash if you wish to buy food from the vendors on site.
