The Renfrew Public Library
With another hot and humid day in store for residents across Renfrew, the town says they will be keeping their cooling stations open for another day.
Environment Canada’s heat warning continues, with temperatures 40+ degrees with the humidex on Tuesday before an expected cold front rolls through the area starting on Wednesday.
They remind you that extreme heat can pose serious health risks, especially for older adults, young children, and those with pre-existing conditions, and urge anyone at risk to make use of their cooling and water refill stations at the Renfrew Public Library, the myFM Centre, and the Golden Age Activity Centre in order to stay cool, hydrated, and safe.
