The stakes continue to climb as the number of hiding spaces continues to drop.
The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation’s Catch the Ace lottery walked into week 21 inside the RVH lobby last Thursday, June 12th, as Executive Director Patti Dillabough and staff watched the giant tumbler roll with a lot of money on the line for the winner and the hospital.
Dillabough would draw the weekly winning ticket from Robert Lorbetskie of Douglas, but how lucky was his choice of envelope 32?
Lorbetskie took home the weekly $1494 prize, as the RVH Catch the Ace Lottery will start Week 22 with a $47,308 jackpot as it continues to grow with each ticket purchased. Meanwhile, $70,513 has been set aside for lifesaving equipment purchases at the hospital.
Tickets are on sale at a number of local vendors and on the RVH Foundation website.
