TODAY: The Renfrew Victoria Golf Classic tees off this Friday at the Renfrew Golf Course. All funds raised from this signature event support the purchase of capital medical equipment at RVH! Plus, Protyre has donated a Garden Shed, tickets are $10 each and available for purchase at Protyre, Gourley’s and the RVH Foundation Office. Winner will be drawn at the Golf Classic. Also, Canadian Tire has sponsored our annual Ball Drop, balls will be dropped from Yemen’s lift on to the 18th Green once again this year, owner of the ball that lands closest to the pin will win $2500.
TODAY: Join local youth organization MDJ Shawville in celebrating the end of the school year and the beginning of summer at their BBQ FUNDRAISER, just outside Pontiac High School, 455 rue maple, Shawville, this Friday evening from 5:00 t0 7:00!
TOMORROW: Celebrate Pride this weekend with the Town of Renfrew and Renfrew Pride! The Town’s Colour Run takes off from Ma-te-Way Park up the Millennium Trail on Saturday morning at 10:30. Registration is $30 at the starting line, and the town reminds you to wear white and bring both protective eyewear and something to cover your mouth.
The Colour Run will wrap up at Low Square just in time for the the start Renfrew Pride’s annual Pride Picnic, which will welcome in the community to meet up outside of Town Hall from 11:00 am to 3:00 for a free barbeque, face painting, fun and games, and live music.
TOMORROW: The Valley Cruisers present their Father’s Day Charity Car Show & BBQ, from 10:00 to 3:00 this Saturday at the Red Pine Boat Launch in Braeside. A great day for the entire family. This is more than the average car show! Bring your cameras, dancing shoes and your appetites in support of Seniors At Home! Rain date on Sun.

The Renfrew Jr A Wolves are looking for billet families for the 2025-2026 season! The importance of billet families to the Wolves organization is immeasurable.
