
Several local teachers and educational administrators have been given their flowers for a job exceptionally done.
The Renfrew County District School Board welcomed the winners of this year’s Employee Recognition Awards, nominated by their colleagues for contributing to a positive, productive workplace in schools and their central departments, to a ceremony honouring their work.
This year’s winners include:
- Rick Schroeder, Secondary Teacher, Valour JK-12 School
- Krista Recoskie, Principal of Student Success & Innovation
- Michelle Harris, Secondary Teacher, Opeongo High School
- Faye Devereux, Secretary, Rockwood Public School
- Nancy Campbell, Educational Assistant, Beachburg Public School
- Amy Charbonneau, Indigenous Education consultant
- Peggy Buffam, Elementary Teacher, RCIS, Renfrew Collegiate Institute
- Adam Bernard, Algonquin Education Liaison Worker, Eganville and District Public School
- Kim Stacey, Educational Assistant, Champlain Discovery Public School
- Rae Hartwig, School Support Counsellor, A.J. Charbonneau Public School
The RCDSB says all recipients demonstrate the spirit of their vision and values in supporting the well-being of students, staff, and school communities.
