TODAY: The Township of Horton presents this week’s FREE 4WARD Motion Class, lunch hour PILATES, this Thurs from 12pm-1pm at the Horton Community Centre 1005 Castleford Road. We have mats if you need a mat! Arrive late or leave early if needed. If would help us to plan our attendance leave them comment or a message that you’re thinking of attending.
TODAY: June is cycle month, and McNabb-Braeside is taking the chance to celebrate 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑦, 𝑓𝑖𝑡𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑢𝑛 on two wheels starting this Thursday! The township will be gathering for three casual evening rides on Thursday nights lead by 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐬. This week, cycling gets underway a the Murray Yantha Centre starting at 6:30pm. Open to all skill levels!
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Victoria Golf Classic tees off this Friday at the Renfrew Golf Course. All funds raised from this signature event support the purchase of capital medical equipment at RVH! Plus, Protyre has donated a Garden Shed, tickets are $10 each and available for purchase at Protyre, Gourley’s and the RVH Foundation Office. Winner will be drawn at the Golf Classic. Also, Canadian Tire has sponsored our annual Ball Drop, balls will be dropped from Yemen’s lift on to the 18th Green once again this year, owner of the ball that lands closest to the pin will win $2500.
TOMORROW: Join local youth organization MDJ Shawville in celebrating the end of the school year and the beginning of summer at their BBQ FUNDRAISER, just outside Pontiac High School, 455 rue maple, Shawville, this Friday evening from 5:00 t0 7:00!

The Renfrew Jr A Wolves are looking for billet families for the 2025-2026 season! The importance of billet families to the Wolves organization is immeasurable. Without billets, the team could not put a team on the ice! The goal of billet families is to provide an environment of support and trust with the players, giving them a home away from home.
