A Renfrew teacher has spent the past week collecting accolades left and right.
On Tuesday, Renfrew Collegiate Institute’s Mike Wright was presented with a King Charles III Coronation Medal for Community Service and Philanthropy by Food Banks Canada CEO Kirstin Beardsley for his long-standing presence within the community with the Renfrew and District Food Bank.
It’s the second honour Wright has been given over the past few days, as he also met with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation on Friday to receive their Outstanding Volunteer Service Award.
