“Sip and Sparkle”, the latest fundraising event for The Robbie Dean Centre went last Friday night and according to Monique Yashinskie was an event not to be missed.
Held at the Pembroke Royal Canadian Legion, the event was something very different from any of the past fundraising events and one which really celebrated women in a unique fashion. Food was served by The Kitchen Eatery and even the decor had many guests in awe with the transformation of the room:
One of the nicest aspects of the evening, according to Yashinkie, was the age range that came out to celebrate. Women of all ages were in attendance which made for a unique opportunity to have conversations some might not have had a chance to have:
Monique was still tallying up the take from the evening but she estimated that it was approximately $17,000 towards the Robbie Dean Centre. Monique says that she will definitely have the same even next year and folks are already asking! As always, sincere thanks goes out to everyone who attended and helped to make this yet another huge success for The Centre.
