If you know a Renfrew resident who deserves recognition for their work in the community, time is running out.
Nomination for the Renfrew Citizen of the Year awards close at the end of this Wednesday, June 11th, as town staff look for people whose dedication, generosity, and hard work impact make a massive impact on our ever day lives.
Alongside Citizen of the Year, you can also nominate someone as Community Champion, Youth and Senior Volunteers, and Non-Profit Organization of the Year.
Make sure your nomination includes: your full name and either a phone number or email address, the full name and contact details of the person you’re nominating, which category you’re nominating them for, and a detailed description of their contributions and why they deserve to be recognized.
When it’s complete, submit your nominations by email to Hannah MacMillan at Town Hall with the subject line “2025 Citizen of the Year Awards”, or drop it off in-person at Town Hall, the town’s office at the myFM Centre, or the Renfrew Public Library.
