Police in Arnprior remind you that leaving the scene of an accident you caused will only make things worse.
Officers with the OPP were called to a collision on Morgan Clouthier Way at around 10:30 in the evening on Thursday, June 5th where a vehicle struck a fire hydrant before the driver fled on foot.
The suspect, a 20-year-old from McNab-Braeside, would later be found and arrested in McNab-Braeside on multiple drunk driving charges, plus having open alcohol in their vehicle, failing to report the incident, and failing to remain.
They were released ahead of a court appearance on Monday, June 9th.
