Emergency crews are responding to a serious multi-vehicle crash on Highway 17 near Petawawa this morning (Wednesday, June 4).
There are reports of smoke in the area of the incident, near Paquette Road and Highway 17, and police, fire and paramedics are responding. The highway is closed in both directions.
One of the vehicles is reportedly a fuel tanker truck that has overturned.
The public should avoid the area.
