Renfrew’s student body invites you to experience their artistry with all five senses during a special Wednesday night presentation.
The Renfrew Collegiate Institute’s Celebration of Arts Night and accompanying Busker Festival take over the school this Wednesday evening, highlighting the school’s creativity in everything from the culinary, musical, visual, and dramatic arts to their entrepreneurial and manufacturing ingenuity.
The event gets started that evening at 5:00 p.m. with a special presentation of the board-wide Indigenous Art display, titled “In Plain Sight,” accompanied by a line-up of student busker acts headlined by Olivia Smart and featuring Ellie O’Grady, Shayne Adam, the sister tandem of Dori and Ava Pilgrim, Hermione Gill, Jocelyn Thompson, and Marlee Lavoy.
Proceeds collected by the buskers will support the Move for Mik Campaign, rallying behind RCI grad Mikaela Barnes as she faces colon cancer.
