Madawaska Valley says they are just a little bit away from completing a major community milestone.
Friends of the Wilno Community Rink are less than $2,000 away from completely funding the $30,000 renovations at the outdoor facility as volunteers began tearing down the old boards last week.
The township says they had a small amount of wood leftover that is up for sale, adding that anyone interested in that or joining the next community work day at the rink should get in touch.
In the meantime, they ask people not involved with the project to stay clear of the rink while construction is underway.
