TODAY:The Renfrew Rotary Club’s Steak or Lobster Feast Dinner tempts you to dig in, either in person at the Renfrew Legion or pick up, on Tuesday May 27th. Dinner is served at your choice of either 6:00 pm or 7:30 pm. Tickets are $45 must be purchased ahead of time at the Legion, No Frills, Aikenhead’s, Metro or a Rotarian.
TOMORROW: Why Does It Hurt So Much And Why Does It Last So Long? Hospice Renfrew invites you to a Wednesday evening where we will talk about what we don’t like to talk about- GRIEF! Wednesday at the myFM Centre from 6:o0 to 830 pm, David Kennedy will explore and explain why grief happens and the need to see grief as a normal healthy response to loss. This will be a practical event for both grievers and those who are connected to grievers and want to understand how best to be there with them. Free admission
TOMORROW: Greenlaw Farm, 2618 Burnstown Road, presents Goat Yoga with instructors Carly from Unite Your Soul Yoga and Kristy Brooks this Wednesday starting at 6:45 pm. Bring your mat and stretch out with the playful Greenlaw goats for $30 for monthly members or $35 for drop-ins. Part of the proceeds from each class will be donated to Valley Animal Rescue! The Renfrew Jr A Wolves are looking for billet families for the 2025-2026 season! The importance of billet families to the Wolves organization is immeasurable. Without billets, the team could not put a team on the ice! The goal of billet families is to provide an environment of support and trust with the players, giving them a home away from home. Pickleball Drill Time takes place one hour before the weekly Friday pickleball session at the myFM Centre. Practice your serves, dinking, forehands, and backhands in a self-guided format, sharpening your skills before putting them to use in a game. Please note that this is an unsupervised session. Join them at the arena from 9:00 to 10:00am through the month of May. $2 per session for residents of Renfrew and the neighboring townships. Register online.
