The Ottawa Valley’s biggest party of the year returns to Renfrew’s myFM Centre tonight, Saturday, May 24, as we host the myFM Friends in Low Places Block Party, featuring ‘Black Tie Affair – The Music of Garth Brooks’ on the big stage inside the arena.
As the concert fast approaches, we’ve compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions to help you out.
How much are tickets?
$45+hst and there will be some available at the door.
‘Black Tie Affair’ Does that mean I have to dress up?
The band is called ‘Black Tie Affair,’ you can swear what you would like. We actually encourage Canadian Tuxedoes.
Will there be any entertainment before Black Tie Affair hits the stage?
Yes, there will be line dancing lessons on the dance floor. It will start after doors open. There will also be a photo booth, so come early to have some fun before the show with your friends!

Yes! Pizza Hut is providing pizza slices as well as pop and water. There will also be a bar (cash only). There is usually an ATM here but always best to come prepared just in case it’s out of order.
Is there parking?
Yes, it’s first come, first served. Parking is free BUT Valley Animal Rescue will be accepting donations. Carpool and take taxis if you plan to drink.
