Tim Bursey and his team at Northshore Structures have been handcrafting log and timber frames since 1996, turning out extremely strong – and beautiful – work that can be seen across the Ottawa Valley and beyond.
Tim’s wife Carrie, who helps run the business, explains that timber framing is a centuries-old art form with no nails used to secure structural wooden beams in this type of construction.
Carrie tells myFM that Tim is a true craftsman who is meticulous when it comes to his work.
Projects include gables and trusses, front entrances, pool houses, heavy timber decks and more.
