Public Works in Renfrew has an update on two major road rehabilitation projects as construction season picks up.
The total rehabilitation of Dominion Street from Quarry Avenue to Hall Avenue continues this week as work to replace the underground infrastructure below the road gets underway now that the temporary watermain has been installed.
Meanwhile, new concrete curbs are in place along Eighth Street as crews prepare to pour new sidewalks from O’Brien Road to Barnet Boulevard over the coming days ahead of adding the final layer of asphalt soon afterwards.
Road closures are in place, and commuters should take care as traffic is safely routed around both projects.
