With just a few days left before the Ottawa Valley kicks off summer in style, here’s what you need to know to make the most of your experience.
myFM General Manager Bob Dillabough reminds you that tickets are on sale online right up to the day of the Friends in Low Places Block Party, featuring Canada’s premier tribute to Garth Brooks, Black Tie Affair, inside the myFM Centre’s main arena this Saturday, May 24th.
Meanwhile, Dillabough has also been busy fielding plenty of questions from the community about what to expect that evening, including the issue of parking and traffic before and after the concert.
He explains that anyone who joined us for last year’s block party will see a familiar setup from town staff and local authorities.
Your general admission ticket gets you on the floor or up into the stadium seating, with tables and chairs available by request. Dillabough adds that snacks and refreshments will be close by so you’ll never be too far away from the night’s entertainment.
Lastly, Dillabough points out that there is a chance to win big that evening, as the local hospital will be on hand for a brand-new fundraiser that’s likely to send one person home with a sizable jackpot.
Doors open at the myFM Centre this Saturday at 6:00 p.m., with the show getting underway at 8:00 p.m.
