The community hall at the myFM Centre was filled with pretty music, smiling family members and the cutest little ballerinas as the Town of Renfrew’s youth ballet program wrapped up for the season Thursday.
Classes are taught by Mary Falconer, a ballet instructor with more than 30 years of experience, following Canadian Ballet Association standards.
This season, there were 32 ballerinas in three ballet classes.
Visitors were treated to a variety of dances.
The program offers children a strong foundation in dance while encouraging self-expression in a nurturing environment.
The seven-week session that just wrapped up was the Swan Lake Edition.
The wrap-up event was ripe with photo opportunities.
The next session will run in the fall as a 10-week session starting Thursday, Sept. 25. Registration is available for ages 3-10 and it will be available on the Town of Renfrew website.
