The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after a traffic stop on Beachburg Road in Whitewater Region Township.
On May 6, around 8 a.m., Renfrew OPP received a report of a suspected impaired driver leaving Arnprior.
Police located the vehicle on Beachburg Road and completed a traffic stop.
As a result of the investigation, a 53-year-old woman from Whitewater Region was charged with operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on June 4. The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
