Officials in Greater Madawaska are warning the public that a portion of Pucker Street is closed this afternoon (Thursday, May 8) because the road has washed out.
The road is closed between civic address 2645 and the K&P trail.
“This road closure will remain in place until further notice, to ensure the safety of everyone,” reads a notice from the township. “Our crews are on site and actively working to safely rectify this issue.”
The public is asked to avoid the area until an update can be provided.
