The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a single off-road vehicle collision that sent one person to hospital.
On Friday, May 2, around 9 p.m., Renfrew OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision on the Algonquin Trail, just east of Mima Street in the Town of Arnprior.
Police arrived on scene along with the County of Renfrew Paramedic Service and located the driver of the off-road vehicle with serious injuries.
The driver was transported to the local hospital and later transported to a trauma hospital via Air ORNGE.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Collision Reconstructionists remained on scene to complete the investigation.
The trail was later re-opened.
