If there has ever been a time when the Renfrew Timberwolves have needed a hero this season, tonight would be a good candidate.
The club is reaching out to the community for their support as they stare down the barrel of an early playoff exit during tonight’s 7:30 p.m. game against Carleton Place Jr. Canadians inside the myFM Centre.
The underdog Canadians have taken control of their semi-final series against the Richardson Division-winning Timberwolves, leading 3 games to 1 while outscoring the Timberwolves 13-7 through four games.
The team says they’re getting ready to battle for a “crucial win,” adding that they are “bringing the energy, passion, and determination” to defend home ice in an elimination scenario.
Fans are asked to come dressed in Wolves gear and to bring the noise and a winning energy to the myFM Centre this evening.
