A 16-year-old is facing two counts of assault following what police are calling a “physical altercation” that broke out inside an Arnprior high school.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say one student and a teacher were struck by another student in the incident, which took place in a classroom on Friday, Feb. 28 around 10:20 a.m.
The accused, who cannot be identified under the terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Pembroke court at a later date.
