Award-winning independent journalist Luke LeBrun is on the case of yet another convoy planning to use Arnprior as a staging area.
Lebrun, who edits “PressProgress”, dedicated to giving exposure to topics overlooked or missing from mainstream media coverage, also periodically releases “Convoy Watch” online via the substack service.
Convoy Watch has an issue of today’s date (dated January 23rd) reporting on the “Election Convoy” which shifted its staging area from the Antrim Truck Stop after its owner purportedly suggested the group wasn’t welcome.
The Election Convoy’s stated mission is to convince Justin Trudeau to cancel the prorogation of parliament and go to an immediate Federal Election.
Lebrun reports the convoy intends a “slow roll” to the nation’s capital this weekend, heading from Arnprior to Parliament Hill along the 417 to make its point.
He indicates their new temporary headquarters is the MTO Park n’Ride on Keatley Road.
The local section, reports Lebrun, is part of a nation-wide campaign planning to snarl traffic to prove its point.
