Area residents waiting on what should have been this week’s usual recycling pick-up earlier this week will have to wait a little longer.
Officials with Renfrew and McNab/Braeside say blue bin collection for residents on Tuesday’s garbage routes have been delayed again to this Friday, January 10th, due to staffing issues at the town’s contractor for curbside recycling collection, Topps Environmental Services.
It’s the second notice of delay in Renfrew, where TES was originally estimated to return to the missed homes on Wednesday.
It’s still cardboard and fibre week for both communities, and town staff are asking that affected residents bring their bins in to avoid the contents being blown onto the road.
