Your next charitable act could have double the impact if you give to Renfrew Victoria Hospital this Tuesday.
RVH Foundation manager Melanie Clemmer says they will be taking part in Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity where communities like Renfrew come together for causes that matter to them, once again working alongside the head of 96.1 myFM to make sure any contribution made on December 2nd goes twice as far for local health services.
Proceeds from Giving Tuesday will go towards improving patient care and providing local doctors with state-of-the-art equipment upgrades that are vital to keeping the top-quality care that has been the talk of patients from across the Ottawa Valley for years.
Clemmer adds that Giving Tuesday is part of a one-two fundraising combination alongside their Tree of Lights campaign, which will illuminate the big tree inside the hospital’s healing garden with lights dedicated in celebration, honour, memory, or support of family, friends, and caregivers at the end of the week.
Donations for Giving Tuesday can be made in person at the RVH Foundation office, by calling Foundation officials through the hospital, or online.
