A teen was sent to hospital with serious injuries after the recreational vehicle (side-by-side) he was driving rolled over Tuesday night.
Nick LeRiche, Acting Deputy Chief of Operations for the Renfrew County Paramedic Service, said paramedics were called to the scene on Chris Ruddy Road and Stone Road in Admaston-Bromley around 5:20 p.m. Nov. 5.
While initial reports indicated the victim was trapped, he had been extricated by the time paramedics arrived, said LeRiche.
The victim was extricated with serious injuries but was responsive and had stable vital signs.
“Paramedics provided advanced treatment on scene and then transported to the Orng helicopter that was awaiting their arrival,” said LeRiche, noting the air ambulance met paramedics at Renfrew Victoria Hospital and took the victim to a trauma centre in Ottawa.
