A report of a suspicious vehicle has led to charges for a 47-year-old from Renfrew.
Officers from the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to Jennet Street in Renfrew Nov. 5 around 6 a.m. to investigate.
Officers located the vehicle and determined it had been reported stolen out of Ottawa earlier in the day. Police say one male was located sleeping in the back seat of the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, the 47-year-old was charged with: failure to comply with a probation order; possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000; and take motor vehicle without consent.
The accused was held for bail.
