Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend and we turn back the clocks one hour this Saturday night.
The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) says the transition can be a tough one for some children.
Parents may dread the time change, and CHEO has provided several suggestions to help kids adjust, including:
- Adjust routines before the time change
- Shift sleep and wake times 15 minutes later
- Go to bed at a normal time on Saturday
- Use light to help the body adjust
- Get a good sleep Sunday night
