The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation says that it’s last call for pledges as their Put Your Breast Foot Forward campaign wraps up.
RVH Foundation Executive Director, Patti Dillabough, hopes this Thursday’s warm and mostly sunny forecast will encourage people to finish their 5-kilometre treks in support of their mammography and oncology departments as they finish what has been a very successful campaign.
She says support of the event has risen in recent years following their decision to let people choose when, where, and with whom participants take part, bringing in crucial donations that keep state-of-the-art screening and treatment in the community.
Not only is the Put Your Breast Foot Forward campaign a worthy cause, but Dillabough adds that you also have the chance to win something for yourself just for letting them know you took part.
Donations will be accepted online and at the RVH Foundation office until the end of the day on Thursday, October 31st.
