There were some glitches for the witches Saturday in Arnprior.
The new online registration system crashed, as too many people had been trying to use it- and “Hailstorm-maelstrom, it can rain and then some”, a brief bout of bouncing hail crammed people under the canopy at Chris-Tina Studio on Madawaska Street, slowing the now back-to-by-hand system.
That’s Witches Walk organizer, Tina Carr.
Soon after Oldies spoke with Tina it was fated that the hail abated.
An early stop along the Witches Walk route of a potential 57 stops was the Arnprior Museum, which offered possible respite.
The Witch Walk organizer said participants were making the Food Bank happy with canned goods and cash, and it takes a lot to wipe a smile from a kid’s eager face.
Tina’s heard the rumour that kids are loving Arnprior, because the community is home to not one, but two Hallowe’en’s- but says that’s an exaggeration!
