The County of Renfrew has issued a public service advisory following offers of paving services in the area of Calabogie Road.
Officials say residents have been approached by individuals claiming they are a paving contractor for the County of Renfrew and while they are unable to pave the road today, they have asphalt readily available and can pave the residents’ driveway right now.
“Be advised these individuals are in no way affiliated with the County of Renfrew or the contractor undertaking this road project,” reads the notice.
The county posted a photo of the alleged vehicle captured by a security camera at a residence on County Road 508.
“If you are approached by these individuals, please use caution,” reads the alert.
