The Taste of the Valley vendor market is set for Saturday, October 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cobden Agricultural Hall and Fairgrounds. Organized by the County of Renfrew’s Economic Development Division, this event showcases over 140 vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items, and hot food from local artisans.
Debbie Ready, Finance Clerk with the Township of Whitewater Region, expressed excitement about the event, which attracts more than 4,000 attendees each year. “Join us to support our local artisans, farmers, and creators,” she said.
In partnership with municipalities like Madawaska Valley and Petawawa, Taste of the Valley aims to promote local products and culture. A special holiday edition will take place on December 14 in collaboration with the Town of Renfrew.
Scott Hamilton, Economic Development Coordinator, noted, “We look forward to our largest vendor market in Cobden, featuring a wide range of homegrown products.”
