ALL MONTH: The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation’s Put Your Breast Foot Forward Virtual Walk begins on October 1st! The Foundation encourages you to raise pledges all month long ahead of embarking on a 5 km walk or run that you can complete anywhere anytime up until the end of the month! Register your personal run/walk and donate here.
TODAY: Renfrew Collegiate Institute’s Honours Luncheon is on Wednesday October 9 from 12-1 in the hall of the myFM Centre. Tickets for guests (students are free) are now available on school cash for $10 each. Tickets will not be available at the door.
TODAY: The Renfrew County Federation of Agriculture’s Annual/Regional Meeting gets underway at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9th at the Cobden Legion. The Federation will elect the new board of directors for 2024/25, as well as the PAC person and delegates to the OFA Convention. Guest Speaker: Ray Bonenburg of Mapleside Sugarbush.
TOMORROW: Renfrew and Burnstown Castle Building Centre hosts a Customer Appreciation Day this Thursday, featuring vendors on site to speak with clients from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Plus: Great deals on new product lines, snacks and refreshments, and a chance to win! Bring a non-perishable food donation for our local food bank to be entered into a special giveaway.
TOMORROW: Come out and try sledge hockey at the myFM Centre! Every Thursday from 10:30-10:45am (dressing rooms open at 10:00am).
