Saturday, Sept. 21 is the annual Tour de Poutine, a 26-km bike ride on beautiful country roads in McNab-Braeside. Meet at Red Pine Bay (642 Usborne Street) at 10 a.m. Register ahead online or on-site prior to the start. $20 – includes registration, poutine (provided by Betty’s Chips) and a drink. ALL proceeds will be donated to the Arnprior and District Food Bank.
Saturday, join the Ottawa Valley Market for a one-of-a-kind fall night market at a gorgeous rustic venue outside of Arnprior, 4547 Mohrs Road. Enjoy fall shopping, hot food, tasty treats, & drinks from some of the best small businesses in the Valley! Entertainment for the whole family: dance parties for all ages with Beyond Dance Company, live music: Ryan O’Neill (5-7pm) & Aerik Watson (7-9pm), face painting, lawn games Admission by donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Saturday, the Renfrew Legion is hosting a garage sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Tables are $25 each, vendors welcome. Please call 613-432-6450 to reserve your table.
Sunday is Farms Open, when 16 dedicated farmers across the Ottawa Valley region and the Pontiac are opening their gates to share the passion, hard work, and sustainable practices that go into producing the local, fresh food we all love. From organic vegetables and artisanal products to grass-fed meats and handcrafted goods, you’ll have the chance to connect directly with the people who bring these products to life. The Pontiac Agricultural Society presents their Demin and Diamonds Ladies Night at the Shawville Arena, 215 Rue Lang, this Friday night! The Renfrew Wolves play their first home game of the 2024-25 season this Saturday, Sept. 21, when they welcome Brockville to the myFM Centre. Game time is 7 p.m.
