TODAY: Cobden District Public School is hosting their Fall Fun Fair on Thursday September 19 from 430-630 at 16 Cowley Street in Cobden. BBQ, treats, games, 50/50 and raffles for numerous donated prizes. Our biggest fundraiser of the year!
TODAY: Join Hospice Renfrew inside St. Francis Xavier Church on September 19 at 6 PM for an evening of insightful discussion, boxed dinner and refreshments. Guest speaker David Kennedy, with his experience as a Grief and Bereavement Counsellor in hospice care, will share profound insights into end-of-life planning. Discover the hope and meaning that come from preparing for this inevitable journey and explore this destination together to find comfort in planning ahead. Tickets $25 must be purchased in advance (non-refundable).
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Skating Club is hosting their 1st Annual 9 and Dine Golf Tournament, this Friday at Dragonfly Golf Club. 4:00 p.m. shotgun start, featuring a raffle, putting challenge and a dinner of burger and fries. TOMORROW: The Pontiac Agricultural Society presents their Demin and Diamonds Ladies Night at the Shawville Arena, 215 Rue Lang, this Friday night! LOCAL SPORTS: Support Our Teams!
The Renfrew Wolves play their first home game of the 2024-25 season this Saturday, September 21st, when they welcome Brockville to the myFM Centre. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
In Junior B: The Renfrew Timberwolves head to Perth this Friday for a game against the Blue Wings. Game time at the Perth & District Community Centre is 7:30 p.m.
