Renfrew OPP officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Burwash Street in Arnprior on September 18, 2024, around 12:25 p.m. The vehicle had been idling for several hours with two people inside.
Police quickly located the vehicle and conducted an investigation, leading to charges for both occupants.
Jesse Lagace, 26, from Pembroke, was charged with two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking, two counts of failure to comply with a release order, and impaired operation due to alcohol and drugs. Lagace was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Sarah Proksch, 27, also from Pembroke, was charged with two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking.
The investigation and charges come after concerned citizens reported the suspicious activity, helping to keep the community safe.
