A suspicious 29-year-old from Greater Madawaska is behind bars after leading police on a unnecessary trek through the wilderness.
The Renfrew OPP were called to an incident within the township that they would learn was domestic-related at around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 14th, only for the suspect to flee into a wooded area.
The 29-year-old would be found in the bush soon after, and they have since been held for bail for failing to comply with an undertaking.
