The midway will be the main stop for many families heading to the Renfrew Fair this weekend.
Robertson Amusements will be handling the fair’s rides for their third straight year, and manager Chris Patrie says they’ve brought along a new addition that’s sure to lift the spirits of guests starting Thursday afternoon.
Patrie notes that the relationship his crew has built with the Renfrew Agricultural Society since taking over midway operations is one that’s built on ensuring every part of the fair, from the stables to the armouries, gets its chance to shine.
It’s a team effort that allows for both sides to focus on refining the experience the fair offers as they look to grow attendance year over year.
The Renfrew Fair opens its gates on Thursday morning, while many of the attractions, such as the midway and exhibit hall, get underway that afternoon at around 5:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy rides for a toonie each on Thursday, with unlimited ride bracelets available for $40 on Friday and regular tickets on sale the rest of the weekend.
