Saturday Aug. 31 is the Community Yard Sale at the Wing. Baked goods from Gramma’s Treats. Event runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Head to Ma-te-Way Park on Saturday, Aug. 31 for the Sending Off Summer Barbecue in support of Renfrew and Area Seniors’ Home Support. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and along with Big Red BBQ’s delicious beef on a bun and hot dogs, there will be a Valley Cruisers Car Show, live music from Kitchen Party from noon to 2 p.m., a 50/50 draw, and kids’ activities that include bubbles, balloons and face painting.
Saturday, Aug. 31 at Renfrew Domino’s Pizza is Kids Make Their Own Pizza Day. between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. For just $5 plus taxes, your child can learn how to create their very own delicious 6″ pizza. Sign up sheet is posted inside Renfrew Domino’s.

Saturday, Aug. 31 from 1-2:30 p.m. p.m. head to the Program Room on the lower level for a fun greenscreen photoshoot. Bring your favorite props to make your holiday snapshot even more special. Renfrew Minor Hockey is now accepting registration for the inaugural season of their Under-21 Division. Registration can be done online.
Renfrew Legion is hosting their annual Dave Palfreyman Memorial Golf Tournament, on Saturday August 31 at the Dragonfly Golf Links. Shotgun start at 1 p.m. followed by a barbecue dinner at the branch.
Renfrew Junior A pre-season game at the MYFM Centre Saturday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. versus the Cobourg Cougars.
