It was fair weekend in Cobden, which wouldn’t be complete without the annual awarding of the Cobden Fair Little Miss and Little Mister.
Charlotte Belmore was named Little Miss and Hudson Slatterly is this year’s Little Mister.
Fair officials were joined by Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski and Whitewater Region Mayor Neil Nicholson in congratulating the young fair goers.
The 165th edition of the Cobden Fair, held Aug. 23-25, was met with beautiful weather. Organizers are thanking all those who contributed to the event.
“Thank you to our fabulous community for supporting the Cobden Fair this past weekend. We hope everyone had a great time in the beautiful weather that we had,” reads a social media post. “The months of preparation by our volunteers and the cost, makes it so worth it when we see our community’s smiling faces!”
