Advocates are vowing to fight Premier Doug Ford for his decision to close 10 safe consumption sites in the province.
Ford’s government said last week it would shutter the sites because they were too close to schools and daycares, citing increased crime and concerns from neighbours and parents.
Advocates for the sites say they save lives.
But Ford says they should be grateful to the province for its decision to shift away from these sites and needle exchange programs to focus on treatment.
