Hospice Renfrew’s most popular fundraiser of the year is being called a major success thanks to your help.
Volunteer Coordinator Deb Coehlo has some fantastic news from the Hospice Golf Classic, which welcomed around 140 golfers to the Renfrew Golf Course earlier this month.
Coehlo says the plan to spend the $30,000 raised during the event on new pull-out couches for each room in the hospice is all about adding even more comfort for residents and their loved ones.
Of course, the hospice wouldn’t get anywhere close to raising that much money without the help of a dedicated group of community members who showed up in support of the cause.
Hospice Renfrew is a six-bed palliative care residence providing full-time 24/7 nursing care, free of charge, to all residents of Renfrew County and the nearby area.
