Madawaska Coffee Company co-founders Neil and Sarah Wright escaped the daily grind in 2011 and have never looked back.
What was originally a small-scale production in the Ottawa Valley has become an familiar sight, smell, and taste across southern Ontario, shipping fresh-roasted blends to hundreds of retail locations, restaurants, resorts, and health care facilities in the Ottawa and Toronto areas.
They’ve also become an international hit, getting orders from fans as far out as England, Ireland, China, and New Zealand who fell in love with their coffee while visiting Madawaska Valley.
Neil says a warm and welcoming working environment that encourages everyone to work together is a key to getting the most out of their small team of employees, whether they’re at the warehouse or at their Madawaska Valley cafe.
