Are you looking for a way to celebrate summer and support a great cause?
Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support wants to send off summer with a fundraising barbecue on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Visitor Information Centre and you’re invited!
Big Red BBQ food service will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with live music by Kitchen Party planned from noon to 2 p.m. Beef on a bun and a drink will cost you $10, while a Lesters hot dog and drink will be $6.
Giant outdoor Jenga, big badminton, bubbles, balloons, face painting and kids’ crafts will also be part of the fun.
A Valley Cruisers Show and Shine will be also be on hand from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Visitor Information Centre is at 190 Mask Rd. near the Caboose. This event was previously scheduled for Aug. 17 but was rescheduled because of the weather forecast.
